What to expect at a Garlic Festival

band tattooThis is an outdoor event, and takes place rain or shine. We have been blessed with good weather almost every year.

There is a large variety of items for sampling and sale such as dips, dressings, sauces and salsas; fresh garlic bulbs, braids and wreaths in myriad varieties.

There are many different herbal products. Also present are various crafts- jewelry, woodwork, clothes and photography.

There is music on stage all day both days.
SATURDAY: Greg Van Houten, Netherwood Blues Band & Blues Sanctuary.
SUNDAY: The FunAddicts, 00Duff and The East Road Assassins & Blues Sanctuary

There is a hay maze for kids as well as inflatable fun toys, inflatablefunjumps.com, such as a moonwalk. Face painting and hair braiding activities are also available. You will find that most kids love the hay maze!

We have a beer and wine tent where you can relax and even enjoy garlic margaritas! As far as the food for sample and sale, to name a few: garlic soup and salad, garlic hot dogs and burgers, garlic chicken and veggie wraps, you can even have garlic ice cream and garlic apple pie or garlic brownies!

delite farms talkWe have herbal workshops and walks going on all day. Planting, growing, harvesting and braiding lectures take place throughout the day. There is also a cooking demonstration, different techniques and uses of garlic.

There is something for everyone, so come enjoy the fun!
